2024 Tencent AI Arena Global Open Competition, is organized by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Education and Chongqing science and Technology Bureau, supported by the Chengdu High-tech Zone Management Committee, and co-organized by Sichuan University, Talent Work Leading Group Office of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee, and Tencent. This competition is held on the Tencent AI Arena Open Research Platform (referred to as the "Tencent AI Arena Platform"). Organized with the goal of integrating scientific research, professional training, innovation in competitions, and industry resources, the event aims to promote "learning through competition." This initiative seeks to enhance the cultivation of AI professionals within national colleges and universities, foster a new ecosystem of collaboration among industry, academia, and research, and propel the development of AI research.

  This year's competition, conducted in partnership with several organizations, places a spotlight on real-world applications within the AI frontier industry. For the first time, it introduces five competition tracks: Intelligent Agent Gaming Algorithm Track, Operator Development Track, Intelligent Traffic Signal Scheduling Track, AIPC High-Performance Gaming Track, and Mobile AI Model Lightweight Deployment Track. These tracks offer a platform for competition and exploration for young talents across various research domains.

  Participants in this year's challenge will have access to resources, computing platforms, evaluation tools, and other research support services from sources such as Honor of Kings, Tencent AI Platform Department, and Tencent's New Culture and Creativity Headquarters through the Tencent AI Arena Platform.This initiative aims to explore and enhance the application of AI technologies in various innovative contexts, including the gaming scenarios of Honor of Kings.

In addition to cash prizes, participating teams will also receive the following rewards:

1.Teams that complete the competition (by successfully submitting a model and passing verification) will receive an official participation certificate.

2.Outstanding participants may be offered internship opportunities in positions related to the Tencent AI Arena project, as well as priority access to Tencent Group's campus hiring and internship recruitment processes. Specific details will be announced separately.

1.Participating teams must ensure all submitted materials are authentic and valid. Any consequences resulting from false information provided during the competition will be the sole responsibility of the participants.

2.Participating teams must guarantee that the code and documentation submitted for review are their own original work and do not infringe on any third parties' legal rights, including but not limited to any third-party intellectual property rights. Participants will bear all consequences for any infringement disputes arising from the uploaded code and documentation during the competition.

3.By participating, teams agree that the organizers may share, disclose, or publish the submitted code and documentation with other third parties, including to the public and future competition participants. These parties may use or modify the submissions without prior consent from or compensation to the participating teams.

4.Organizers reserves the right to adjust or change competition-related content, including rules, prize information, and timelines, based on operational needs and requirements, with announcements to be made on the Tencent AI Arena official website (aiarena.tencent.com). Participants are advised to regularly check the website for updates.

5.All data and information provided by organizers are considered confidential. Participants must strictly adhere to these confidentiality agreements and are prohibited from using, spreading, disclosing, or authorizing the use of this information without permission.

6.Without authorization, participants may not use any third-party software, plugins, cheats, systems, or technology to access or gather any information or data of all the organizers, their partners, or users within the competition.
